However, one key component to avoiding similar shortages in your company and retaining talent is to reprioritize your team members! Here are a few key ways you can support your staff and remind them of the reasons they chose to join your company.
1- Listen to your team! Qualtrics’ recent study on mental health post-pandemic shows that 67% of workers feel more stress since the outbreak. By directly asking for your employees’ feedback on how to best relieve some of their stress, you are demonstrating empathy which entices workers to stay connected to your company.
2- Provide resources and direct aid! Once you have received feedback, it is time for a change. Employees want to see that their input generated real actions within the office. Reward your team for their dedication to your company and honesty.
3- Champion your company’s culture. In these unprecedented times, it is all too easy to give in to the stress and slip into bad habits. Remember to realign your brand and actions with your company’s core values, and your workforce will thank you. And so will your supply chain as a result!
